Digital preservation policy

ApareSER. Journal of Philosophy preserves all the documents it publishes in electronic form. The Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla, through its Directorate-General for Libraries, creates a backup as part of the university’s Institutional Repository. This involves keeping one backup copy in a directory separate from the server itself and another copy on external storage media.

In addition, this journal uses the LOCKSS system to create a distributed storage system across participating libraries and enables the creation of permanent archives within the journal for preservation and restoration purposes.
