Objective, focus and scope
The aim of the journal is to contribute to contemporary philosophical reflection and discussion by publishing research articles, academic discussions, interviews and translations, as well as critical reviews of recently published books relevant to philosophy.
The focus and scope of the journal is to publish original philosophical research by postgraduate students, lecturers and researchers, preferably on topics related to contemporary philosophy, although research confined to other historical periods is also accepted. Submitted research may be in Spanish, Portuguese or English and must be unpublished, characterised by methodological and conceptual rigour, as well as clear and precise argumentation.
All submitted articles will undergo a rigorous peer-review process (double-blind), carried out by national and international researchers who are specialists in the topics addressed in the submitted work and who are not affiliated with the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla. The review process takes approximately three months. ApareSER. Revista de Filosofía is open access; it does not charge authors for submitting and processing articles for publication and accepts submissions throughout the year.
