Abstract

In this article, readers will find a survey and examination of the recently published translation into Spanish of the volume 80.1 of Heidegger’s Gesamtausgabe: a series of fifteen lectures (1915-1931) that range from the logical and phenomenological concern with judgment to the more familiar elaborations on the allegory of the cave and the essence of truth. Divided into three sections, this article outlines the possible thematic blocks in which the lectures may be grouped —thus revealing a kind of narrative of Heidegger’s thought rather than a mere juxtaposition of texts— and concludes with a somewhat more extended reflection —guided by Leo Strauss and Christopher Bruell— on the relation between freedom and truth or freedom and ground.
