Abstract

In an accelerated world full of urgency, our praxis has become a reflection of that world. Attached to this has been constructed an idea of modern scientistic subjectivity that pretends to have control and dominion over the phenomena that appear to it. This has generated the fading of something inherent to us: participation with and in the world. If subjectivity assumes that it does not dominate things or other subjects, but participates with them in something greater, we can think of a reconstruction of another type of praxis that does not become impatient, but delays prudently with things and with others. In order to think about such a theme, we have resorted to the field of play, which seen from the phenomenology of Hans-Georg Gadamer, allows us to open other paths to think of play as an alternative way that makes possible the transformation of our praxis.
