Abstract

The present study reflects on the relationship between mythos and logos as a tool for the study of Nahua thought. By backtracking the question of Nahua philosophy to the question of philosophical thought itself, it interacts with the political interpretation of the problem. To this end, the mythos-logos relationship is reevaluated in a coextensive framework based on F.W.J. Schelling's Philosophy of Identity. A methodology of myth interpretation is proposed that onto-theologically directly connects mythology with the development of philosophical thought.
